This afternoon my friend, Terrance Luker, and his family came to see me. I have known Terrance for several years. We became friends while we were attending Central Baptist College in Conway. Today was the first time for me to meet Terrance's wife, Hillary, and little girl, Mary Joyce. Terrance's mother, Joyce, was also with them. It was great to see her, I have not seen her in a few years. Terrance, Hillary, and Mary Joyce will be returning to Italy in a few weeks. They have been in the States for the summer. I enjoyed visiting with all of them and am so glad they were able to find time to come see me!!!!

This past weekend I went to Conway to see my friend, Kellie, and my sister, Ashley. We got up early Saturday morning and went to Bargins Galore on 64. We started out on Highway 64 in Conway and went to Russellville. There were yard sales all along the way. We stopped at several. There were also a couple of towns that had booths set up in the town. Bargins Galore went for about 160 miles, but we did not make it all the way. It was HOT and we got tired. We did not find many bargins. This event began on Thursday, so I think all the "good stuff" was gone. After we made it back to Conway we did some shopping there. Then it was home to take a nap!!! We had a really good time.

That time again... It is time for school to begin. I start school on Tuesday, August 8th. The students do not begin until Monday August 21st. I began going to school a couple of hours each day last week to work on my room. Each day I went there were also other people there, so I spent a big part of the time visiting!! Today I went and there was only one person on my side of the building so I was able to get a lot done. My room is basically ready to go. I still have some small things to finish, but will have time before the 21st. Here are some pictures of my room.

Right after school was out, in May, Brad and I began landscaping around our house. We had a nursery draw us a plan. The plan showed us what plants to plant, and exactly where to plant them. It was ALOT of work, and took us a few weeks. I recently took some pictures of it. The plants have grown despite the heat this summer. They also came and finished the circle drive. The only thing we have left to do to be 100% finished with the house, is paint our porch poles, carport poles, and the front and back door. We have been here almost a year and it hs not bothered us so we may just live with it!!!
