Pool Update

The pool construction has been a little slow because of water. It has rained so much this summer that the water levels are very high. It looks like we are digging a pond. We have one pump going 24/7 that is pumping water out of a hole behind the pool. We bought a well pump today to keep the water out of the bottom of the deepest part of the pool. This afternoon Brad and his dad made some progress after we got the pump and got it going. Maybe we have the water problem somewhat under control. Company

Today my friend Jamie and her baby Ella came to see me for a little while. Emily, Jamie's niece was with them. I had not seen Jamie in forever and I finally got to see Ella for the first time in person. I see Emily each week at church. We had a good visit. Here are some pictures of Ella and Emily. Jamie would not let me get a picture of her!!!

Pool Construction

We are putting in a swimming pool. Here are some pictures of the construction so far.

Saturday

Michael and Parker came for the day on Saturday. Priscilla was at home sleeping, she had to work Saturday night. Aunt Jan and Uncle Tim came by while we were all at dadddy and mama's house.

American Idol

On Friday night I went to the American Idol concert in Little Rock, at Alltel. I went with Deb Young and Becky Stanley. I teach with both of them. We had good seats, and enjoyed the concert. I could not figure out how to take good pictures. So the pictures I got are not too good at all. I guess I should have read the instruction book before I went, so I could have gotten some good ones.

4th of July

Today "The Clark Family" went to my Aunt Jan and Uncle Tim's house in Dierks. We visited, and ate. It was great to see everyone. We enjoyed the day there. After we left here we went to mama and daddy's to visit with Michael, Priscilla, Parker, and Ashley. We all went out to eat later in the evening.
