Parker is Visiting

Parker is in Nashville staying with daddy and mama, so I went over Friday night and got her and brought her to our house for a few minutes. Here is a picture and short video of her.

WE HAVE A LINER!!!

Here are some pictures from the last couple of days. We finally have a liner in, with a little water. We will continue to fill the pool tomorrow until it is full!!!

Pool

Well the guy finished the concrete on Wednesdy. It was a mess. It was very rough, and there is no way that a liner could have been put on top of it. Brad and his dad have worked on putting another layer on concrete on the pool to make it smooth. It is muc better than it was. The guy has not been back since Wednesday, so we have left him a note and told him that we would finish it ourselves. This is a photo of how rough it was.

Fianlly Some Work is Done!!

The pool guy finally showed up on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to work. Today he got the concrete finished.

I got my camera out, and Tracker posed to have his picture taken, so then I had to take Toby's.(Toby really did not want his taken.)

Let the Fun Begin

I will start school on Monday. I have been working on my room for several days, getting it ready for the first day. I think my room is ready, I just have lesson plan things to finish. I have 18 third graders this year. I think I have a pretty good class(I hope), and I am exited about getting started.

Michael, Priscilla, and Parker

Michael, Priscilla, and Parker were in Nashville Friday night and Saturday. Here are some photos, and as usual they are of Parker. They are not great pictures of her, because she is very hard to catch!!

Monday's Update

The pool guy was here around 6:00 this morning, with about 4 or 5 helpers. They poured concrete in part of the pool.

Getting Closer

On Saturday Brad and his dad did some more plumbing work. They got alot of it done, but ran out of pipe. The pool guy came by today, and said that his crew would work tonight and have things ready so they can put part of the concrete mixture in the pool in the morning.

The Pool

This morning the men poured the concrete around the braces of the pool. Also, Brad and his dad did some plumbing work. The men had to come back tonight to dig the pool deeper. Last week, Brad had told them that is was not deep enough and the liner was not going to work. The guy kept telling Brad not to worry about it. Well today he told Brad that he was right, and it was not deep enough. So, they are re-doing it as I type.

Pool Progress

The guy has worked on the pool (a little) the last couple of days. Here is the progress so far. It is getting there!!

Another Pool Update

We decided to hire a guy to finish the pool. He puts pools in for a living and knows how to deal with all the water. He began Saturday night and hopes to be finished in 5-7 days. We will see!!! This is what he had done on Sunday when we got home from church.
