A Very Special Gift!!

Today we received a baby gift from my friend, Jennifer Almand Wilson. When I opened the gift I found a beautiful pink crocheted baby afghan. I was so impressed that Jennifer had learned to crochet. Then I opened the card. This is what Jennifer had written inside the card. Shelley, Mrs. Opal made this for Laura when she was born. I thought that you would like to have something your Mamaw made to give your baby girl. Love and Best Wishes, JenniferIt was so sweet of Jennifer to send me this afghan. August 25 Doctor Appointment

I went to the doctor today. Everything was great. When I first when in, my blood pressure was high. I knew it would be because I had rushed getting to the doctor and then I did not even have a chance to sit down before they called me back. (Usually I have to wait an hour or longer in the waiting room) Anyway, after the nurse took my blood pressure she told me just to sit there and relax while waiting on Dr. Bingham. When Dr. Bingham took my blood pressure again it was great. Also I had lost 2 lbs, but she said Anna Kate is growing just fine. She said she would see me in 2 weeks. So, please just pray that things continue to go well. Only 11 weeks to go!!

A Little Behind

I have been busy lately so I have not posted in a while. A couple of weeks ago, Michael, Priscilla, Parker and Ashley came for the day. We ate lunch at Daddy and Mama's, and then everyone came over to our house to swim. After we swam we went back to Daddy and Mama's for dinner.

I Am Finished!!!

I am finally finished with my Master's degree. I finished this past week. I was supposed to walk at SAU on Friday, but I got permission to graduate absentia!! So, I should get my diploma in the mail in near future. I am very excited that it is over!!

First August Dr. Visit

I went to the Doctor today. Everything was good again. I had gained 2 lbs, and my blood pressure was great. I had to do the glucose blood test today. I had to drink some orange stuff and an hour later they drew blood. The nurse called while I was on the way home and said that I had passed the test, and everything was ok!! The time has come for me to start going every two weeks to see Dr. Bingham.
