This was Anna Kate's 2nd birthday. We had to take Ace back to Texarkana for his newborn checkup with his pediatrician this day, but I had planned to do a little something for Anna Kate's birthday that night. Well things did not work out like I had planned. I woke up early Monday morning and was having trouble breathing. Also, my feet and legs were swollen. I tried to wait until 8 to call my doctor, but I just got worse. I called Daddy and Mama to come over around 6 so Brad could take me to the ER. When I got to the ER they all thought it was a blood clot, but thank goodness it just turned out to be fluid and it was on my lungs. I was given some medicine to get the fluid off. They let me out of the ER around 11 so Brad, Ace and I headed to Texarkana for his appointment and I also got in to see my doctor. We were both fine. I was just given more medicine to keep the fluid off. So... Anna Kate did not have much of a birthday party. She had a little party of school that day, I sent cookies. Also, she got her gifts and she was excited about that. These are the only photos I got on her birthday.
